The history of foreign investment in Irish football has been patchy at best, and news that Dundalk have been taken over by Peak6, a sports investment firm based in Chicago has been greeted warily by fans from inside and outside the club.

Former Leinster and Ulster coach Matt Williams give us his views on Ulster, the big under performers in Irish rugby. Why have they not pushed on from 2012, why is their form so unreliable, and how come their star players usually perform brilliantly for Ireland but can be so inconsistent for their province – is it a coaching issue, a player issue, or a culture issue?
