The ‘Iberian Derby’ is, apparently, a thing now, and it’s on tonight in the first truly mammoth game of the 2018 World Cup – Ken is on his way to Sochi to watch Spain/Portugal, and he predicts a Thrilla’.

Eoin was blown away by the hosts and their thumping 5-0 win against Saudi Arabia… and he’s refusing to let Ken convince him otherwise, no matter how like a 5-a-side team Saudi Arabia were.

Sid Lowe joins us to talk about Antoine Griezmann’s rather bizarre half hour documentary to announce that he was taking his talents… right back to the same place he was last season. And there was also the never-ending soap opera of Real Madrid, as they try to massage the narrative around their appointment of Julen Lopetegui.

Plus there’s Ramos v Ronaldo, Peru’s 28 Days Later, the simple joy of not getting booed, and Frances Murphy’s TV guide to the weekend.
