Episode 3323: Heartbreak For Shels, Oh Fruk, Summer Slips, Man City Donnarumours
Shels had a 2-1 lead going into the second leg against Rijeka, had a fevered Tolka crowd behind them and looked comfortable for long periods – but the LOI champs were undone by two incredible goals, and a late, preventable, painful goal by Rijeka’s right back, Ante Orec.

David Sneyd of The42.ie was in Tolka too and he joins us in studio to discuss the nature of the loss, where it leaves Shels and the fallout from the end of the FAI’s summer soccer dream.

We also get some feedback from an optimistic Sunderland fan and Ken investigates the puzzling story emerging that Man City are about to sign PSG/Luis Enrique reject Gianluigi Donnarumma.

??? Luis Enrique: “Donnarumma is out of the squad as it’s my own decision. I am 100% responsible”.
“I want a different kind of goalkeeper and I made this decision. Gigio is one of the best GKs in the whole world”.
Donnarumma will also clarify his position soon. ?? pic.twitter.com/czTj4BD69q
