It’s at times like these that our venerable American correspondent, Brian Murphy – king of San Francisco morning radio, beloved Aer Lingus spokesperson, and snowflake – comes into his own.

Super Bowl 52 sees the New England Patriots against the Philadelphia Eagles this sunday night, and in a battle between five time champions Brady and Belichick, and second-string quarterback Nick Foles and inexperienced head coach Doug Pederson, Brian boldly predicts… a thumping New England victory.

But the Philly fans’ boisterous behaviour, and low-level criminality, have brightened US Murph’s week up no end, and he gives us all the build-up in the daftest week of his working year.

Plus we discuss angry Tom Brady, Patriots inside jobs, Ken’s ‘golden window’ theory gets road-tested, he has some more tough love parental advice, and Eoin gives us a rundown of all the hottest computer games of 1991.
