The Gaelic football season is about to kick off this weekend, but it seems like the game’s hive-mind is feeling rather tortured at the moment. A winter spent debating, implementing and then disposing of various proposed rules changes has over-shadowed what should be the key point – no team is in any sort of fit state to challenge Dublin right now.
