Andy Lee had a hugely successful, world-title-winning, heart-stopping career in boxing. The most brutal, the most edgy, the most dramatic fight perhaps of his entire career was his first after his hard-won world title, and took place in Brooklyn, against Brooklyn’s own Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin.

On today’s show Andy – who never watches his own fights back – graciously agrees to watch this fight back, gives us his commentary of the devastating first-round knock-down that nearly stopped the fight, and talks us through the extraordinary fight-back in the later rounds… none of which he remembered after the fight due to concussion.

It’s the most electrifying description of a world title fight you’re ever likely to hear.

Plus there’s a rebirth for Eoin’s commentating career, and we hear the origins of the beef that nearly tore Second Captains apart – the beef between Ken Early and Murph’s dog Pickles.
