It looks as though Liverpool’s 30 years of hurt is over after the FA ruled that the Premier League should be decided on “sporting merit”, apparently removing the possibility that the season could be voided. But what method of determining sporting merit will the clubs choose?

We check in with Miguel Delaney and Jack Pitt-Brooke to hear where it’s at with Project Restart. What is the current state of preparation? Can the moral case against resuming play next month be so easily dismissed? And are the clubs correct to assume the players are happy to play along?
