Ken and Eoin have been feeling a little left out of the Murph And Mal Movie Club, so before Ciaran and Malachy Clerkin of the Irish Times cast their eye over this week’s selection of sports movies, McDevitt and Early have a little chat of their own.

On the agenda – Ken’s ongoing grievance with Normal People, and a spittle-flecked attack on a fellow Titan of the Irish Times sports department. And after that a discussion on self-pity, arrogance and terrific acting – the Lance Armstrong formula for success.

After all that, it’s “Moneyball”, “Free Solo” and “The Matador” on the movie agenda – getting played by Brad Pitt on-screen, the most jaw-dropping sports documentary you’ve ever seen, and why bull-fighting has been *mildly* controversial since 1567.
