Since the Bundesliga and NRL in Australia have returned the TV companies have been trying to improve the empty stadium experience by adding in a mix of fake cheers and applause. Murph likes it, Ken doesn’t. But we have news for you – turns out us sports fans have been manipulated by fake sports sounds for years. Eoin investigates.

We look back at the 1966 World Cup final with “not that English” Jonathan Wilson. We all know West Germany were robbed with the 3-2 goal that didn’t cross the line. But that is only to scratch at the surface of the boneyard of infamy that Channel 4 would perhaps have been wiser not to disinter.

Plus there’s Eoin’s revelation that Bobby Charlton was quite good at football, and Ken has more plans for statues that need toppling.
