Eoin talks terms and conditions today as he rues the potential loss of Dublin’s Euro 2020 games, and we give the Premier League one last chance to entertain us after a boring, boring week of football.

The European Indoor Championships have always been a relatively happy hunting ground for Irish athletes – with this year’s edition starting tonight – and Ireland are sending their biggest ever team, with a couple of juicy little team rivalries to spice it up.

Derval O’Rourke gives us the full lowdown on Síofra Cléirigh-Buttner and Nadia Power who have both set Irish records in the 800m already this year, while there’s a very tasty master-apprentice vibe in the men’s 800m as Mark English, twice a previous European medalist, had to fight all the way to hold off 18-year-old Leaving Cert student Cian McPhillips at a micro meet 2 weeks ago.

We also ask her if new shoe technology is behind all the fast times here and internationally, and if technology will be the dominant factor for this event and the Olympics.
