Leicester City had hardly more than 48 hours to prepare for the visit of well-rested Liverpool, but anyone randomly tuning in might have assumed they were the fresher side.

 

Now Liverpool have fallen six points behind Man City at the half way stage and the title “race” is in danger of becoming a mere memory. Is there a risk that after a certain point, Jurgen Klopp’s ceaseless complaints about player welfare start to sound like defeatism?
