Munster have the history, the players, the stadium and the fanbase to be one of the best sides in Europe, so why do they look so flat in the big games?

We chat to Shane Horgan, Andrew Trimble and ex-Munster hooker Duncan Casey about the van Graan succession plan, what it says about the Munster board that they wanted to keep him on, if anything can be done to improve the team this season with van Graan and Larkham still in place and what characteristics the IRFU should look for in the next Munster head coach.

Although Man United did come out on top against Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round last night, it was another lacklustre performance from Ralf Rangnick’s side, with Marcus Rashford in particular coming in for a lot of criticism on Twitter. The usual questions were asked about his social work away from football, but why does Rashford feel the need to keep responding to the criticism?

Plus there’s Call the Midwife and calls for more bodhrán.
