Sonny Bill Williams is an All Blacks legend, a two-time World Cup Winner and a former rugby league world player of the year. As if that wasn’t enough, he’s a few weeks out from his ninth professional fight as a boxer and he’s turned to one of the best in the business to help him prepare: friend of the show, Andy Lee.

Eoin and Murph made their way to St Joseph’s Boys Football Club in Sallynoggin, home of Monkstown Boxing Club, to watch Andy and Sonny Bill train this week before sitting down to chat about why Sonny turned to boxing in the first place, why he’s returned to it now when he could be enjoying his recent retirement from rugby, and how he ended up in Dublin with Andy.

Plus there’s Eoin’s Sallynoggin glory days and Murph’s introduction to a punching bag, aged 40.
