One of the greatest and most controversial American writers of the 20th century writing about one of the greatest sporting events of the 20th century as reviewed by one of our favourite-ever guests on our RTÉ radio show: a strong combination for the latest edition of the Second Captains I’ll Tell You Who Wrote It Book Club.
We spoke to former head of special projects at the National Archives and one of the country’s foremost social commentators, Catriona Crowe about Norman Mailer’s The Fight this week and it was a hell of a chat.
