Just over 13 months ago, Tiger Woods damaged his right leg so badly in a car accident that he admitted in the aftermath he was lucky to be alive and that amputation had been on the table. Now he’s doing practice rounds at Augusta National, and despite some equivocation on his part in the last few days, it’s clear he’s going to be teeing off tomorrow.

We speak to Malachy Clerkin of the Irish Times about where we should set our expectations around Tiger, the remarkable rise of our own Séamus Power – who’s gone from pro golfer purgatory to a place at the Masters in the space of a year – and the excitement of having a four-man Irish contingent at Augusta.

Both Man City and Liverpool take a lead into next week’s Champions League quarter-final second legs, with City managing to figure out Simeone’s experimental 5-5-0 formation, and Pep getting up close and personal with his own player.

Plus there’s Liverpool’s supersubs and Eoin’s pain threshold.
