Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will make history tomorrow night in New York City when they become the first female boxers to headline a card at Madison Square Garden.

We’re joined from New York by Gavan Casey of the 42.ie and former Taylor opponent and current undisputed world welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill to chat about whether Serrano has held off on taking the fight until the perfect moment, her camp’s troubling past, what’s in store for the winner and whether Jessica rates either fighter as highly as everyone else (… the answer is no).

There was a lot of football to be consumed last night as Man United’s sole remaining Premier League goalscorer Ronaldo did his duty, Jose and Brendan Rodgers engaged in some high-level wine #bantz, and West Ham left themselves in desperate need of some Eintracht Frankfurt social media goading to muster up enough motivation to claw their Europa League semi-final back in the second leg.

Plus there’s Frances’ weekly appearance, Brendan Rodgers budget and a communiqué from Barry’s Tea.
