If only we could have a nice fun pitch invasion where everybody enjoyed themselves in a boisterous but respectful way and nobody did anything bad. Do any of us feel like condemning Patrick Vieira for turning vigilante in the face of provocation?

 

James Corbett and Kieran Canning were both at Goodison to witness Everton’s salvation. They give their impressions of a remarkable night’s football, including thoughts on why pitch invasions seem to be more of a thing now.
