We thought Manchester City had problems when they lost 1-0 to Spurs on Sunday night, but then on Monday morning the Premier League posted a statement on their website and City’s problems got a lot more serious.

The unprecedented accusations levelled at City by the Premier League cast a shadow over their decade of dominance. One way or the other, the consequences will surely be serious.

Miguel Delaney and Dion Fanning join us to talk about City’s situation. Is this different from previous episodes where City have faced and ultimately beaten charges of breaking the rules? What part is being played by internal Premier League politics? With a possibly protracted legal battle ahead, what will the effect be of this situation dragging on? And what must Pep Guardiola be making of it all?

We also discuss Dyche’s winning formula, the end of coach Marsch and Klopp’s foolish response to questions about the club’s horrible run of form.
