Despite Irish Rugby’s decent track record in the Six Nations over the past couple of decades, the last time we actually won a Championship at home in Dublin was in 1985.. And who better to line out against on St Patrick’s Weekend than a struggling England team? Surely not even the most fatalistic of us can see anything going wrong?

We’re joined by Gordon D’Arcy and Ruaidhri O’Connor of the Irish Independent to discuss Gordon’s Slam Week in 2009, the eerily perfect build-up to the game, Ireland’s good injury news on Doris and Sheehan, and England happening upon their best backline of Farrell, Slade, Tuilagi and Arundell.

Plus there’s Stephen Kenny ahead of the international break, the announcement of our next I’ll Tell You Who Wrote It Book Club and Frances Murphy’s Guide to the sporting weekend.
