Ireland face Latvia tonight, it will be Evan Ferguson’s first start in green, and Ken delivers what he expects the Ireland team to be, in 20 minutes or less.

Before that, we talk about Marvin Gaye – Motown legend, voice of social conscience in 1970s America, tortured soul… and boxing promoter.  Matthew Allan wrote a beautiful piece in Rolling Stone about the night his fighter Andy Price went into the ring against the great Sugar Ray Leonard.

And on today’s show Matthew tells us why this story tells us so much about the person Gaye was – “his fears, his misplaced ideas of masculinity, his charms, his ability to pull profundity out of pain, his cruelty, and his delusions.”
