With a Manchester derby FA Cup final tomorrow, and City looking likely to emulate United’s greatest-ever season, we talk to Nooruddean Choudry (@BeardedGenius) about his new book, “Inshallah United”.

The book reflects on his experience as a second-generation immigrant growing up in Manchester in the 80s and 90s, obsessed by music and football.

We talk to Nooruddean about the complications created by state ownership, how football has changed since his favourite season of 1992-93, the evolution of Football Twitter, and the reason why he decided to write this book.
