Episode 2726: Lowry Limbo, World Champions of What, World Cup Nerves
Shane Lowry loves the Ryder Cup. Loves it. But has only competed in it once courtesy of a captain’s pick from his compatriot Padraig Harrington. That was for the 2021 Whistling Straits edition. Europe were smashed. But Lowry still loved it.
So with the 2023 Ryder Cup exactly a month away, why is Shane Lowry again waiting on a captains pick to see him tee off in Rome. Today we chat to Denis Walsh about Lowry’s form, his parting with caddie Bo Martin and why regardless of all that he’ll more than likely be in Rome.
We also chat about US exceptionalism as Noah Lyles calls out the NBA while another listener joins the ranks of fearful Irish Rugby fans.
