Ireland’s next opponents, Scotland, will easily beat Romania this weekend, but their real issue is the injury crisis at hooker with Gregor Townsend now down to his 6th choice, Johnny Matthews, who has had a summer filled with social occasions and booze. We chat to Ruaidhri O’Connor, who is with the team in Tours, about selection options for Farrell, the way this World Cup is being reffed, the threat posed by Scotland, and Eddie Jones’ diary.
