Episode 2759: Farrell’s Lineout Fix, O’Mahony’s Moment, Beckham’s Age Of Innocence
Peter O’Mahony will win his 100th cap against Scotland this weekend, and at 34 years of age he’s playing his best rugby, doing his best interviews and has other teams hating him more than ever.
The only chink in Ireland’s armour thus far in the World Cup has been the lineout, and Andy Farrell has taken action by starting the in-form Iain Henderson and moving one of the mainstays of the Farrell era, James Ryan, to the bench. We discuss this, plus the injury to Henshaw, and the variables at play for Satiurday’s game.
Ken has been watching the Beckham documentary on Netflix and he likes what he sees.
Plus there’s Sexton’s record against the Scots, Fergie’s face and Frances’ TV guide.
