We discuss Murph’s book (again), but we also reveal what other books made the shortlist – from autobiographies by Liam Brady and Carl Frampton, to Eamon Carr’s Showbusiness With Blood, and the An Post Sports Book of the Year, The Grass Ceiling by Eimear Ryan.

There’s also a word or two about the burgeoning market for kids’ sports books, boastful extracts from an Irish sports autobiography (GAA edition), and a controversial split-decision…
