Episode 2817: Anthony Barry Enters The Room, Basque Dominance, Oireachtas Retort, Dudu Aouate Memories Day Two
Anthony Barry has entered the room. The well traveled 37 year old ”conesman” has shot to the top of the water cooler chat with an article in the The Telegraph speculating that the current Bayern Munich and Portuguese Assistant Coach is now the leading candidate for the Republic of Ireland job.
Meanwhile, Ken tries to sit through yesterday’s FAI trip to the Oireachtas.
But, are the FAI looking for managers in all the wrong places? As coaches from the Basque Country infiltrate and take over some of Europe’s top leagues we talk to our Basque friend Beñat Gutiérrez about this explosion in coaching talent in his part of the world.
We also chatted about Newcastle’s fall from grace and it’s day two of Dudu Aouate memories.
