The last time we spoke to Rhasidat Adeleke, in March of last year, she was still only getting to grips with running the 400 metres, while ripping it up on the NCAA circuit. It’s fair to say she’s feeling a little more comfortable now, as she faces into a huge 2024.

We talk to her about Ireland’s unprecedented success at the World Relay championships last week, her love of relay, making our opponents sit up and take notice of Ireland, what her Olympic priorities are, and why she is so passionate about inspiring girls to not quit their chosen sport.

We also discuss Aston Villa’s 3-3 draw with Liverpool, and why this will be a strange, strange night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Plus there’s a perfect pedant’s corner and Ken’s memories of the Liverpool – Blackburn final day game in the 95 PL title race.
