There’s potential for emotions of all stripes to spill over on today’s show. First off, Jamie gingerly joins us to answer for the disrespect he showed Kilkenny last week before their Leinster final against Dublin, an echo of the wider lack of kudos they felt they were being given by the MSM. We also chat about the ease with which Limerick turned over Clare on Sunday to take their sixth Munster title in a row, and the Joe McDonagh final, which turned out to be the game of the weekend.

There was also the unbelievable excitement of watching Rhasidat Adeleke coming so close to taking a gold medal in the European 400m final last night at 21 years old, running a personal best and the second-fastest European time this century.

And sweet sorrow hangs in the studio air with Eoin and Murph saying goodbye to Ken as he prepares to take to the road once more ahead of Friday’s Euro 2024 opener.
