Episode 3070: Ireland Win, Brady’s Finish, Festy’s Feet, Heimir Begins
For the first time since 2012, Ireland have come from behind to win. The winner was glorious too with Festy’s fast feet, Brady’s calm touch and then his sweeping shot into the roof of the net. We’d almost forgotten what this feels like.
?? 1-1 ??
Ireland are level! Robbie Brady bends in a brilliant ball and Liam Scales superbly heads it home. It’s the Celtic man’s first goal for his country. ??

We chat to Ken in Helsinki, who called this result in advance, which is not typical Ken.
?? 1-2 ??
Ireland lead! Festy Ebosele does so well to fashion the chance and it’s lashed home magnificently by Robbie Brady. ????

There were a few lucky escapes, plus Finland aren’t very good and there was an horrendous error by Collins; but there was a harshly disallowed goal too and loads of positives including Brady’s deliveries, the return of Ev, Festy’s positivity, Szmodics’ creativity and the team finally showed flashes of confidence and belief. Heimir Begins.
