Today Ciarán announces the exciting news of his new book Old Parish: Notes On Hurling.

Murph’s second book tells the story of a 42-year old man (Murph) humiliating himself for the amusement of his readers. But it’s also about why he wasn’t given the chance to play Hurling by the quirks of geography, and why that’s the story for hundreds of thousands of Irish people.

It being the eve of an All-Ireland HurlingFinal weekend we are joined on the line by Nicky English to talk through hot summer days in the 1980’s as Tipperary and Cork flaked it out on scorched fields and how he thinks his county will fare in this ”bonus” All-Ireland Final.
