Episode 3306: Football Final Preview, Giles Hits Headlines, Forza Ferguson, Galtee Mountain Boy
We’ve had a lot of reaction to Eamon Dunphy’s BBC town hall archive audio from 1993, as featured on yesterday’s show, and today Ken has sourced more gold – this time it focuses on Eamon’s pal John Giles who hit the headlines way back in 1961, when he was a Man United player.

All-Irelands can be crazy, unpredictable games – and Kerry and Donegal don’t have to go too far back in the distant past to find examples, last Sunday should have been warning enough. Paul Flynn and Conor McManus manage to set the scene beautifully for a knife-edge final.

If there’s a wild-card to be pulled, are Donegal the likelier team to do it – and after a season of two-point swings, is there any reason to think teams will shy away from the large arc now?

Plus there’s hurling kicks, Forza Ferguson, Kevin Zefi’s tale, Galtee Mountain Boy and more Murph spotting in Galway.
