Episode 3313: Ken Meets Jimmy Dunne, Tom Brady Built In Birmingham, Ageism, The Newcastle Project
NFL legend Tom Brady became part owner of Birmingham City in 2023, and while soccer may not be his first sport, he’s not shy about offering an opinion on his employees.

The Jimmy Dunne star is on the rise! In March, aged 27, he made his Republic of Ireland debut. The following month, he was named QPR’s Player of the Season. In June he signed a new contract despite reports of bigger Championship clubs being prepared to triple his salary. And this month he was named club captain. Ken chats to QPR and Ireland’s soundest man about the modern day obsession with young players, being shunted around loan clubs, establishing himself as a scoring right back and why Ireland can get to the 2026 World Cup.

Plus there’s question marks around the whole Newcastle/Saudi project, democratic dictators and David Pleat’s ancestry.

?? Talks between Newcastle and Liverpool over Alexander #Isak are progressing well. The player’s camp are very positive about the situation. Isak is hopeful that an agreement between the clubs can be reached. A record bid will be needed. #LFC
