Episode 3360: Gazzetta Football Italia With James Richardson, Branno At Rome Derby
Evan Ferguson’s loan move to Roma has focused Irish minds on Serie A in a manner not seen since the 1990’s when our weekends were dominated by James Richardson delivering smooth pieces to camera from beautiful Roman cafes and courtyards, drinking an espresso and slapping a pink broadsheet.
With Branno having survived last weekends Rome derby, we got James along to Earth Theatre in Hackney last night to recall those days of Gazzetta Football Italia.

We ask James about the series of random events that led to him getting the job as the main presenter, why he thinks it was so popular, and breaking the golden rule of television – never work with animals, and Gazza.
