Episode 3390: Conor Murray And One Night In Chicago, Scotty Robertson Dreams Of Skibbereen, League Of Ireland Endgame
It’s been nine years since Ireland first beat the All Blacks at Soldier Field in Chicago, and tomorrow night it’s the same venue, same fixture, as the November series gets underway.

The player of the match from that day back in 2016 was Conor Murray, who joined us onstage at The Gaiety a few weeks ago to speak about why that match remains the highlight of his international career, coming from third or fourth place in the Munster pecking order to becoming an Ireland starter in the blink of an eye, and his criticism of the province in his new autobiography.

Plus there’s Simon’s sad Soldier Field prediction, Ken’s glowing reviews in the paper of record, and Xabi Alonso’s self-delusion.
