Episode 3472: Frank Sacked, Operation Grand Slalom, Branno’s Winter Olympics
Spurs’ awful season got a little worse last night when they lost 2-1 to Newcastle, and manager Thomas Frank has paid the price. We chat to Miguel Delaney about Frank’s wretched time with the club, what it says about how Spurs are run, and who is likely to take over.

At the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002, Ryan Wedding from Canada came 24th in the Parallel Giant Slalom.

Last month Wedding, now 44 years old, was arrested by law enforcement officials in Mexico, having been sought by the FBI and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for his role in overseeing what the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, called “one of the most prolific and violent drug-trafficking organisations” in the world. He’s also on the FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted list. Jesse Hyde of Rolling Stone magazine was in the courtroom a couple of weeks ago when Wedding entered his not guilty pleas, and Jesse joins us on the show today.

We also hear about the time Branno met Princess Anne in Korea.
