The Nations League draw yesterday evening had presented us with a 25% chance of drawing Israel, and that is what transpired.  We talk to Gavin Cooney about how Irish football, the only country to have lodged an official complaint with UEFA about Israel’s ongoing participation in European football, will handle this fixture.

We discuss where the away leg will be played (and where the home leg will be played), and how Heimir’s previous criticism of Israel, which he stood by yesterday while facing the press, will play in the run-up to these games.

And we talk to Dermot Rigley, the chief executive of Prime Arena Holdings, about his consortium’s dream of building an ice-hockey arena in South Dublin, and bringing the sport to our nation’s capital.  Will we ever hear the Dublin Shitehawks featuring in Frances Murphy’s TV guide? And of course we chat about how ”Manager of the Year”, Keith Andrews has jump-started the Premier League title race.
