The FAI announced yesterday that, after legal consultation, Ireland have decided to go ahead with the games against Israel. We talk through the events of yesterday, and wonder if it might not be that simple.

That’s after we argue over whether the appearance of Snoop Dogg at Swansea is a good or a bad thing, and celebrate 10 years of Gianni Infantino, whose exemplary values have been praised by Tom Brady. But what are those values? And are they in keeping with the spirit of the age?

Edwin Edogbo made his debut for Ireland against Italy earlier this month. The experience was marred by online racist abuse he suffered on Irish Rugby channels, culminating in comments on X being blocked by the IRFU. The reaction to this was one of anger, outrage and despair.
