In early March as the US-Israel War on Iran entered its third week we spoke to seasoned FIFA watcher Sam Kunti, who back then thought the prospects of Iran playing at this World Cup were pretty slim…fast forward three months and last night Sam was inside the Los Angeles stadium to see Iran draw 2-2 with New Zealand.

Taremi said that they have to leave tonight, no recovery practice tomorrow in LA.

In the dressing room Infantino promised he would help.
