Episode 3293: Lawyers, Guns and Money
The latest Kevin Brannigan joint rolls off the production line this week, with the first episode of his two-part documentary “NORAID – Irish America and the IRA”, airing tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9.35pm on RTE1.
We speak to Doctor Brian Hanley about the Irish-American funding network for families affected by the Troubles, although the exact destination of all that money remains somewhat of an open question – generations of Irish, British and American governments believed that that money bought guns for the IRA.
We also discuss the ubiquity of Bohs jerseys in the world, Branno’s new kit idea for his high-flying football club, and Ken’s DAZ-N issues spark another wave of regret and self-loathing.
