Episode 3453: Marty Supreme, McDevitt Not So Much, Grunge Week Diminuendo
Today, more than anything, is an exploration of Eoin’s most beloved fringe passions.
First up is a trip down memory lane, as the popularity of Marty Supreme provides Eoin with an opportunity to regale us with memories of his table tennis glory days back in the early 1990s.

We chat to journalist and author Matt Blake who’s been writing about Marty Reisman, the inspiration for Timothée Chalamet’s character in the movie, Marty Rauser. Reisman was a table tennis pro and a self-confessed hustler and smuggler, whose life couldn’t provide more in the way of fertile ground for a Hollywood adaptation.

And, of course, whether with a teary-eyed wave or a furious shaking of the fist, we all say farewell to another Grunge Week.
