Episode 1514: US Murph On Seismic Developments In California, Better People Make Better All Blacks?
Steve Hansen, head coach of the New Zealand rugby team, got himself into hot water late last week when he made some comments on radio about domestic assault that described the problem as “not a gender thing”.

He was speaking in light of the announcement of a squad that included Sevu Reece, a wing who was on the brink of being signed by Connacht before news of a domestic assault case came to light last year. His contract with Connacht was cancelled soon after, and the man who spoke to Steve Hansen last week, Jim Kayes of Radio Sport NZ, is on the show today.

US Murph is with us as well, and this week he’s talking about the 7.1 earthquake that (barely) interrupted a game in LA recently, the 1989 World Series quake, and the huge signings made in the same week by both the LA Clippers and the LA Lakers that led to some pretty dodgy gags being made (nearly all of which you’ll hear repeated on the show).
