We welcome a few old friends back to the show today, as fresh from his exploits with Galway on Sunday, Johnny Glynn joins us from the celebrations for a quick chat.

The last time we spoke to Johnny, he was training the New York Sligo footballers on Randall’s Island, in April 2016. Meeting him in New York at the time, it was easy for us to see why he would want to stay in the US and make a living for himself, but obviously this summer something changed.

His return to the panel in the weeks before the League final got tongues wagging, and he started his first game in 2 years for Galway as they won Sunday’s All-Ireland final.

We also talk to Luke Jensen of ESPN about Federer, Juan Martin Del Potro, and Petra Kvitova’s amazing recovery… but does he still think Eoin is amazing?

And there’s Murph’s role in Galway’s win, Wes V McClean, Northern Ireland’s blazing run, Roger Federer’s lame tweets, scumbags (plural) of the week, and tears in Ballinasloe.
