In the latest installment of the Player’s Chair, Richie travels to London to speak with his old friend and Millwall teammate Steven Reid.

The 23-times capped former Irish international tells Richie about the ten years he spent in the English top flight, how he dealt with tough love and why he has decided to take a break from football.

Steven also recalls the two weeks in Kavos that could have seen his career come to a premature halt, and he and Richie reminisce on their sliding doors moment. They also discuss the tightrope walk that is criticising a modern professional, and Marcelo Bielsa’s training ground espionage.

Plus there’s young Richie V 41 year old Nigel Spink, and Ken explains why carrot is worse than stick.
