In the early hours of Sunday morning, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will face off in the ring for a second time in the biggest fight in the heavyweight division in almost twenty years. We’re joined in studio by Gavan Casey of the 42.ie to discuss why Fury has changed the make-up of his coaching team and brought in a Kronk set-up featuring Andy Lee, and whether Fury will really look for a knock-out as he’s repeatedly said.
Friend of the show and trainer extraordinaire Andy Lee then joins us to discuss how he became involved in the Fury camp, how it feels to be back under the Kronk banner, and what alterations we can expect to see in both Tyson Fury’s gameplan and technique.
Manu Tuilagi is back for England but from being touted as world beaters a few months ago, they’re now looking threadbare in a few positions, especially in the back three. That’s right, the BOXKICK is back, cries Eoin (for one weekend only).
Plus, Big Sam takes the title of Britain’s greatest living broadcaster, and Ken returns from the land of trains.
???? Al: “Atlético gave us a lesson in how to defend [vs Liverpool].”
? Sam: “You’re not supposed to do that here! Simeone’s tactical genius would be frowned upon.”
Sam Allardyce says Simeone would be “slaughtered” for his tactics if he was in the Premier League.
