It’s a hell of a sporting week with the Olympics drawing to a close this weekend, the Lions taking on the Springboks in the decisive third test and a little closer to home, two excellent All Ireland semi finals in the hurling championship as Limerick take on Waterford and Kilkenny face Cork.

With that in mind, Derek McGrath and Jamie Wall join us on today’s show to set about previewing the weekend’s hurling. Waterford have looked brilliant since their loss to Clare, but is recency bias giving their perceived chances of winning a helping hand? And are they better served trying to find a way around rather than through Limerick?

Cork are being billed as a team built for Croke Park, but Kilkenny have burned Jamie too many times before – can they grind down a young, less physical Cork side by attrition?

Plus there’s skateboarding youth and more shattered world records at the Olympics, and Bohs continuing to brush aside European opposition but doing it without a TV audience.
