After Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-2 in an entertaining Spanish Super Cup final, we check in with Sid Lowe to talk about where these teams are at. Are there already green shoots at Barcelona? And can Madrid ever forgive Vinicius for not being more famous and expensive when they signed him?

Shortly after we released our chat with Mitchell S. Jackson yesterday about the death of Ahmaud Arbery and why simply being a black man out for a run made him a target, the tragic news broke that a 22-year-old primary school teacher, Ashling Murphy, was murdered while out jogging in broad daylight in Tullamore yesterday afternoon. We reflect on Ashling’s death and the fact that for so many women, the act of just going for a run can stoke so much discomfort and fear.
