Episode 2273: A Very Roman Abramovich Football Show
Another day and another statement to decipher from Roman Abramovich, this time announcing his decision to sell Chelsea, having only announced last week that he was handing over ‘stewardship and care’ of the club to a charitable foundation.
Ken gets out his fine-tooth comb to try and work out exactly what it is that Abramovich is saying, before speaking to football writer and historian, David Goldblatt about his reaction to Abramovich’s planned departure, why the secretive and virtually silent Russian bought the club in the first place, and the British media’s past reluctance to write about him.

Plus there’s the headline Chelsea news – a hard-fought win over Luton Town in the FA Cup last night.
