Rhys McClenaghan is a world gymnastics champion, and after 18 months of struggle and disappointment, it’s a moment of redemption for one of Ireland’s most gifted sportspeople.

He is in studio talking to us about the inevitability of mistakes in Pommel Horse, the lessons you learn, and the questions of identity he was forced to face when it looked like he wasn’t going to be allowed to compete for Northern Ireland at this year’s Commonwealth Games.
