Football was at its most hilarious yesterday – first with the release of the VAR audio from Saturday evening’s Tottenham/Liverpool game, and then with the never-ending clown-show at Old Trafford as Manchester United twice lost the lead and ended up losing the game to Galatasaray.

Eamon Carr is the author of a new book called “Showbusiness With Blood – A Golden Age of Irish Boxing”, and in another more glamorous life, the drummer in Horslips, one of the great Irish rock bands. He talks to us in studio today about his extraordinary life.

Plus there’s Rashford’s meme pass, air traffic control protocol and Euro 2028 is coming home, and to Ireland.
