Katie Taylor is an undisputed world champion, but that didn’t stop people disputing the judges’ call to award a majority decision to her after an epic scrap with Delfine Persoon on Saturday night in Madison Square Garden.

Gavan Casey was there for the42.ie and he’s in studio with us to discuss why he felt it was a draw, and why calling it either way wasn’t daylight robbery, or a fix. And we’re joined on the line by the living legend of boxing commentary Bob “The Colonel” Sheridan to talk about the truly amazing defeat of Anthony Joshua by Andy Ruiz Jnr, a man who doesn’t look like the heavyweight champion of the world.

We discuss rumours of Joshua getting knocked out in training, of anxiety attacks before the fight and Bob explains why boxing is “as close to death as you can be”.

Plus there’s Irish revenge for Raul Nazaré, Shane Ross the cut-man, bias in boxing decisions, Eoin offers a leg-up to some smaller media organisations, and Roy Keane educates Danny Welbeck.
